Job Description
We are currently seeking a seasonal lawn care technician to join our team for the upcoming season. As a lawn care technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of lawn maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, fertilizing, and pest control. This is a seasonal position that typically runs from late spring to early fall.
Job Responsibilities
- Mow and trim lawns using commercial-grade equipment
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other lawn treatments
- Perform weed control activities, including hand weeding and herbicide applications
- Identify and diagnose common lawn issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Maintain lawn care equipment and ensure it is in good working order
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- No prior lawn care experience is required, but a willingness to learn and follow instructions is essential
